Management Team
President & CEO - Marc Albin
Mr. Albin has spent over 20 years in the Information Technology and
Engineering industry, starting Albin Engineering Services Inc. (AESI) in
1993. Under Marc’s leadership, AESI has experienced
unprecedented growth, in addition to being listed on Inc. Magazines fastest
growing companies in the USA two years in a row- 1999 and 2000.
Prior to AESI, Marc began his career in 1984, holding numerous
technical executive positions with General Motors, Motorola, Hewlett
Packard and Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space in addition to various
start-ups throughout Silicon Valley. His focus has been in the
hardware/software disciplines for automated test systems.
Marc has been acknowledged as one of the most influential executives
and innovators within the industry and has been recognized by the San Jose
Business Journal as an Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, the prestigious
“Rising Star” award from the city of Sunnyvale, California, in addition to
being recognized as a “founding father” in helping pass SB-88, the Senate
Bill which has swept favorably throughout the staffing industry - granting
exemptions to Computer Professional employees.
Marc is also an accomplished speaker who has appeared at numerous leading
industry forums including the national COMDEX
conference. He has served on and has been involved with many industry
groups and their boards: NACCB, CATSS, NATSS, CSP AND ASA. A graduate of
Eastern Kentucky University with a BS in Applied Physics and minors in
Computer Science, Computer Electronics and Mathematics.
Vice-President of Finance, Operations and Technology - Kathie Peterson
Kathie brings a long and extensive track record of successful
operational leadership to AESI. She joined AESI in 1998 from Relational
Performance Engineering, an IT consulting firm specializing in
professional services where she held the position of Chief Operating
Officer. Previously, Kathie held positions as Vice-President of the Robert
A. Mcneil Corporation in addition to Wells Fargo Bank in the finance and
banking industry. Kathie has been instrumental in leading and managing
corporate control systems throughout her career. Her extensive experience
in the areas of systems and business process improvements has led to AESI
becoming one of the fastest growing companies in the United States for two
consecutive years as recognized by Inc. Magazine.
Business Development Manager - Kersten S. Buck
Kersten has spent over 20 years providing Information Technology Services and Solutions beginning her career at Digital Equipment Corporation. In the early 90’s she transitioned to Alternative Resources Corporation (ARC) where she sold Information Technology Service Solutions to national clients such as, the Bank of America, Hewlett-Packard Company, IBM, EDS, and many other high tech companies based in Silicon Valley
While at ARC, Kersten was instrumental in developing multi-million dollar service offerings to support Hewlett-Packard’s service organization. Those service solutions are still an integral part of the services delivered formerly by ARC, now Pomeroy Systems today.
After many years with ARC, Kersten moved into a role with PrO Unlimited as the Director of Client Services. In this role, she was responsible for most of the contingent workforce management company’s on-site program staff. She had approximately 50 members on her team, across the nation, supporting more than one billion dollars of client contingent workforce spend. Kersten was brought into PrO Unlimited to show the program management team working in client locations various techniques to grow the existing account revenues resulting in a 33% growth in revenues in those accounts.
Kersten joined Albin Engineering in 2006 to support growth and expand the mature relationships with existing clients to provide functional outsourcing solutions, project services, and engage in business development activities as a partner delivering services.
Kersten has held board positions on the local chapters of the Help Desk Institute and is an active participant in numerous engineering societies and staffing industry organizations such as NACCB, CSP, and the Industry Council for Small Business Development, ICSBD. Kersten graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in the Political Economy of Natural Resources.
Human Resource and Operations Manager - Tiffany Millspaugh
As a member of the Executive Management Team, Tiffany is responsible
for managing human resources and daily operations. In that capacity,
Tiffany is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the daily operations of AESI.
Some of her duties include formulating policies, managing daily operations, facility issues and HR issues.
Not only is Tiffany heavily involved in the business side of AESI, but she plays a key role in AESI’s technology and development.
Tiffany’s history in database management and call center software development greatly assists in AESI’s technological strategy for the future.
Prior to joining AESI, Tiffany was employed as Vice President of Operations & Development for a call center in Rancho Cordova, CA. Tiffany’s experience encompassing call center services, database and software development spans 15 years, which led her to acquire a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Administration. She has worked with numerous companies in operations management, program management, database administration, and technology advancement. Tiffany brings a wealth of skills and leadership experiences to AESI’s valued clients
