AESI was voted Small Business of the Year by the members of the Industry Council for Small Business Development (ICSBD) in 2009.

ICSBD is a non-profit entity dedicated to promoting large business contract opportunities for Small and Diverse Businesses. Corporations like Lockheed Martin, Brocade, Cisco Systems, BAE Systems, Space Systems Loral, Northrop Grumman, and Plantronics support these efforts as part of their smart business practices.
