Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is seeking RF Test Technicians to work on a one year contract for a leading aerospace company in the Bay Area.
We currently have multiple positions for RF Test Technicians. All shifts are available (Day, Swing and Graveyard).

There will be an in-person job interview for those candidates who are accepted on August 22, 2009 from 900 AM - 12:00 PM.

- Previous Satellite Test Experience (preferred)
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card)
Job Description:
- Set up, adjust and calibrate standard test apparatus or devices
- Utilize test equipment to conduct functional, operational, environmental and life test to evaluate performance reliability of prototype and production model
satellites using applicable test procedures.
- Perform spacecraft performance testing of complex communications, telemetry and command subsystems.
- Perform detailed RF test measurement such as gain transfer, frequency response, spurious search, noise figure, modulation, index, insertion and
return loss using manual and automated test racks.
- Understand the operation of various types of test equipment such as; Oscilloscopes, Spectrum and Network analyzers.
- Operate spacecraft test consoles such as the payload test racks using applicable test procedures.
- Must be familiar with Windows style PC operating systems.
- Determine methods and sequence of operations to test components and systems according to engineering specs.
- Analyze and interpret RF test data.
- Provide diagnostic of malfunctions and other test result feedback to the vehicle and systems engineers.

Required Experience:
- Must have strong background in RF, adhering to procedures and attention to detail
- Must adhere to all company procedures
- Must be able to read and understand and follow Quality policies and ISO 9000 directives
- Must be an effective communicator
- Must have good team interaction skills
- Must be willing to work off shifts, weekends and holidays
- Must be willing to travel to support launch base efforts and off-site testing.
- Minimum of 5 years satellite integration and test experience or related RF experience is required
- Minimum of a High School or equivalent education plus 2 years Technical or Engineering Training.
- All shifts available.
