Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is seeking a Senior level RF/Microwave engineer to work on contract with a leading Aerospace Company at their Palo Alto, CA facility.
This position requires strong technical background in circuit design, computer modeling and design implementation. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to advance design efforts developing state of the art amplifiers, mixers, synthesizer and oscillator.

Required Experience:
- Perform advance circuit design, prototype fabrication, and breadboard testing of high performance, integrated microwave circuits (amplifiers, mixers, VCO, PLL, Synthesizer) covering frequency ranges of up to 40GHz.
- Possess a thorough understanding of MIC and MMIC technology.
- Possess strong working knowledge of design software (ADS, CST, Sonnect, HFSS, Mathlab, Spice).
- Have extensive hands-on experience with RF test equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot RF circuity.
- Evaluate technical proposals and generate performance trades in support of new business development.
- Organize, schedule, and manage a full range of complex development projects, including technical requirements, schedule, and cost estimate.
- Provide technical interface with customer/supplier for specification and product information flow.
- Provide sustaining engineering support to production.
- Participate in part/material/process selection (support to Parts engineering).
- Evaluate technical proposals (support to subcontracts engineering).
- Generate technical proposals (support to system engineering).
- Must have a minimum of 10 years experience
- Minimum education: BSEE (MSEE preferred)
