Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer. This is a W-2 contract position working for a leading aerospace company in Palo Alto, CA. Must have excellent verbal and written communication and skills working with teams.
Job Duties:
Perform structural analysis for aerospace hardware
Day shift, occasional OT, required to work weekends and various shifts if needed.

Required Experience:
- Perform stress analysis and margin of safety using strength of materials theory and classical methods
- Extensive knowledge of nastran, and post processing toll such as Patran/FEMAP, etc.
- Develop finite element models of structural components and assemblies for static and dynamic analyses
- Familiarity with advanced composite materials and spacecraft structures is preferred.
- Test experience a plus, as is thermal analyses
- Good communication and organization skills
- Minimum 7+ years experience
- BSME preferred.
