Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is looking for a talented Systems Integration & Test Engineer responsible for coordination with Program, Quality Assurance, Safety, and support personnel to ensure that satellite integration & test operations are conducted successfully. Provide on-site support for satellite mechanical and electrical testing. Provide general guidance to the mechanical and electrical test teams during spacecraft level performance testing. Assist in the resolution of issues that arise during testing. Document test anomalies found during test execution. Support System Engineering in the verification of test requirements. Support trouble shooting to resolve test anomalies. Ensure all manufacturing processes, testing procedures, and security requirements are followed and properly documented.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops, plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
- Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
- Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
- Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
- Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
- Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
- Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Required Experience:
- Electrical or Aerospace Engineering Degree, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with test and integration.
- Experience with troubleshooting software problems, especially command and telemetry anomalies.
- Strong engineering background and experience in a challenging development environment.
- Experience in Satellite Test including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, anomaly resolution, satellite software test systems, and electrical ground test equipment.
- Willing to work overtime on off shifts and weekends in a 24/7 operations environment.
- DoD Secret Clearance or must be able to obtain
- MUST have Satellite experience
- MUST be US CITIZEN
