Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is currently looking for a senior level Electrical Engineering designer for a major aerospace/defense client in Denver, CO.
Job Summary:
-The position will consist of work on near space and space qualified solar arrays.
|
Required Experience:
- Job Functions:
- Performs solar array design, sizing, trade studies, build over-site and testing for space and near space applications
- Researches solar cell technologies, wiring, and panel build for applications on space and near space
- Investigates environmental conditions such as sun intensity, temperature, out-gassing, magnetic and radiation effects on the solar cells and arrays
- Writes solar cell and array procurement statements of work, test reports and test procedures
- Develops and presents solar cell and array presentations for customer review
- Researches, develops, designs, and tests solar components, equipment and systems
- Must be US Citizen and be clearable for a DoD security clearance.
- Contract position for 6 months to possible hire or extension.
