Albin Engineering has an opening for a Senior Systems Engineer to work for a leading aerospace company. This person will develop the architecture for key software components for satellite communications programs. These components will include network services and management systems. The resulting software will be used in ground segment software that delivers critical network services to global packet networks.
General Position Description:
- Ensure the systematic conversion of product requirements into systems solutions.
- Perform functional and timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Required Experience:
- Security Clearance Secret
- BS degree with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters
Desired Experience:
- Understanding of the software development life cycle. Must also participate in the planning, design, documentation and testing of network management software
- Highly motivated self starter that understands systems engineering within a CMMI level 5 environment
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Experience with: DOORS, System Architect, DoDAF, ABD, UML, SysML
